In a world where gastronomy has been dominated by men, Maglen Paiva has paved her way with effort, discipline, and passion. Her journey at Divieto is a testament to perseverance and resilience, making history as the first female Executive Chef in the renowned restaurant chain.

Her career at Divieto began eight years ago when she started working on the line. With determination and commitment, she advanced through each station: Pizza & Fry, Pantry, Prep, Pasta, and Grill. Over time, she took on more strategic roles, managing inventories, orders, openings, closings, and Expo control, gaining a deep understanding of restaurant operations. Her leadership and dedication led her to make history in June 2024, becoming the first woman to hold the position of Executive Chef at Divieto Doral.




But she hasn’t walked this path alone. Throughout the years, she has found mentors who have been instrumental in her professional growth, such as Chef Luis Zavala (divieto's Corporate Chef) and Mr. Arturo Carrera, along with other outstanding professionals who have left a lasting impact on her development.

Today, her story is an inspiration to more women in the culinary industry, proving that with passion and hard work, there are no limits to what can be achieved. Her leadership at Divieto reflects talent, determination, and excellence—qualities that define a true pioneer in her field.
